The National Collaboration for Youth Research Group meets twice a year in different locations to accomodate the national nature of the members. The NCY Research Group is working on three key objectives.
To enhance our individual and collective ability to:
One: Use research to develop and enhance programs, improve practice, and increase accountability to stakeholders: young people, their families, communities, funders, youth development professionals, and policy makers.
Two: Increase the effectiveness of youth development by increasing availability of research useful to stakeholders.
Three: Strengthen our ability to support and develop practical, reflective learning environments and accountability systems within our organizations to promote positive youth development.
